چکیده

This note proposes a multirate sampleddata system to model the discrete schedule feature of the networked singular control systems. Sampleddata system with time-delay in its discrete-time subsystem shows some nice features to admit many network-induced topics, for example, time-delay, packet dropout. Beside of the networked control systems with different combinations of the time-driven or event-driven mode of the devices, including the samplers, the controllers and the holders, this work concerns with the networks with multirate devices. By transforming the time-delay in the discrete-time subsystem into the continuous-time singular subsystem, a less conservative time-delay dependent stability result for the networked singular control systems is obtained. The stability condition guarantees that the networked singular system is regular, impulse free and stable. Furthermore, a stabilized control law for the networked singular systems is presented. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the potential of the proposed techniques.

Structural Properties of Multirate Sampled-Data Systems

The application of Networked Control Systems (NCS) in which sensory and control signals are transmitted via shared data communication networks, is growing significantly and these systems have been the subject of research during the last decade. On the other hand, multirate sampled data systems have been investigated since a long time. In this paper, conditions under which a networked control sy...

Modelling and Compensation of uncertain time-delays in networked control systems with plant uncertainty using an Improved RMPC Method

Control systems with digital communication between sensors, controllers and actuators are called as Networked Control Systems (NCSs). In general, NCSs encounter with some problems such as packet dropouts and network induced delays. When plant uncertainty is added to the aforementioned problems, the design of the robust controller that is able to guarantee the stability, becomes more complex. In...

On the Optimal Multirate Control of Networked Control Systems

Optimal multirate control of the networked control systems is investigated in this paper. Under p – to – wσ communication sequence that sensors access communication medium and m – to – wρ communication sequence that actuators access communication medium, the plant of networked control system acts as a linear periodic time-varying system. Using lifting technology, a linear periodic time-varying ...

Designinga Neuro-Sliding Mode Controller for Networked Control Systems with Packet Dropout

This paper addresses control design in networked control system by considering stochastic packet dropouts in the forward path of the control loop. The packet dropouts are modelled by mutually independent stochastic variables satisfying Bernoulli binary distribution. A sliding mode controller is utilized to overcome the adverse influences of stochastic packet dropouts in networked control system...

Linear Matrix Inequalities in Multirate Control over Networks

This paper faces two of the main drawbacks in networked control systems: bandwidth constraints and timevarying delays. The bandwidth limitations are solved by using multirate control techniques. The resultant multirate controller must ensure closed-loop stability in the presence of time-varying delays. Some stability conditions and a state feedback controller design are formulated in terms of l...
